Haiti has turned into disorder and anarchy. For the forward movement, and as quickly as possible, the order must be restarted. Everywhere and in everything! When it is not non-existent, the State is on its knees or dragged into the gutters. The forward movement is part of a process aimed at restoring the authority of the State.
In Haiti, successive governments have never really placed the development of local authorities at the center of the priorities. Or national development goes through regional development. How to create economic activities that generate employment and growth in remote communal sections? This is the fundamental question to which adequate answers will have to be found in the decades to come.
Haiti’s biggest scourge is unemployment. It reaches unheard-of proportions. The battle of the future is that of job creation. Everywhere and by the thousands. In small, micro and large companies, in the private and the public. In all sectors of the economy. We must be able to guarantee employability conditions for our youth, notably through quality vocational training. In Haiti, vocational training should not be seen as a catch-up or second chance route, but rather as a fundamental pillar of a national project. It should aim to train qualified young people who can enter the labor market. It must be aligned with the priority sectors of the economy. We need more mechanics, plumbers, carpenters, blacksmiths, tailors, shipowners, electricians
Transparency and accountability are a fundamental pillar for the Forward movement. Our actions will go in the direction of a merciless battle against the monster of corruption which remains a brake on the economic development of Haiti. This pillar will be the hallmark of our ideological and political DNA. No ambition for progress and modernization is conceivable just as Haiti does not equip itself with strong institutions capable of ensuring the good management of public funds.
Our movement intends to promote the development of the practice of sport for all. An ambitious national project for Haiti cannot be reduced to economic and social questions. For our youth, we must promote sport and its values from an early age. For this, it will be necessary to maintain and develop natural spaces (recreation and relaxation centers) and neighborhood facilities, the establishment of stadiums or sports parks in the neighborhoods.
The EN AVANT Mouvement will make national production a permanent and constant concern. Food self-sufficiency should no longer be an empty word. The supervision of our farmers or our SMEs working in the agri-food industry must be a major priority. We have the land in great quantity, the rivers, the ideal climate, as well as the men and women who can develop our land from north to south, from east to west. All the conditions are met to resuscitate national production. Major tax incentives must be given to those who choose to produce locally, particularly in local industry. This will also be the meaning of our fight.
The EN AVANT Movement believes that our diplomatic policy remains faithful to the principle of peoples’ self-determination and the defense of human rights. We encourage a dynamic and modern foreign policy in the service of development. We encourage the complete overhaul of the Haitian Chancellery. As currently structured, it is still unable to ensure the implementation of an ambitious and effective foreign policy. In addition, the recruitment of staff at the level of the internal and external services of the Chancellery continues to be carried out without clearly defined objectives.
Justice lends itself to multiple purposes. In our modern advocated state, justice as an institution will adequately meet the requirements of ensuring respect for the laws and guaranteeing the rights of everyone. Thus, we are dedicated to profoundly reforming our judicial system for the effectiveness of fair and impartial justice. This reform implies an overhaul of our legal corpus for a good harmonization between law and society. We promote laws to strengthen judicial independence, laws to consolidate the financial security and tenure of judges, codes of ethics for the practice of the legal profession.
The sustainability of a nation is ensured by the evolution of an emancipated and fulfilled youth having in its future. In this sense, the EN AVANT movement intends to make rising generations one of the pillars of its fight against economic and social inequalities. To achieve this, we promote the adoption of measures necessary for the effective integration of young people into society.
