Some people think that the continued decline of our country is inevitable and that the worst is yet to come. The founders of the “EN AVANT” party dare to claim otherwise. Indeed, taking charge of politics through collective and visionary leadership can lead Haiti on the path to progress and development.
Haiti is today experiencing a multifaceted crisis that affects all spheres of society. Faced with the seriousness of this crisis, we now need a national revival and a renewal of the ruling class to right the national boat.
Change in Haiti requires the seizure of power by a new team ready to adopt major reforms and impose appropriate public policies to restore state authority and put the country back on the track of development.
The time has come for progressive forces (especially among youth) to organize themselves in order to occupy spaces of power. Faced with the specter of chaos, we need awareness and firm commitment from new generations and reassuring profiles. Faced with the deterioration of institutions and governance, we need a coming together of personalities and forces of progress to build an alternative and inclusive political offer.
This is what motivated a set of social and citizen organizations, personalities and leaders from different sectors to come together within the EN AVANT party.
Within EN AVANT, we are driven by the duty to slow down Haiti’s descent into hell. Faced with the changes in a troubled world, faced with the challenges that await us, we want to bring together the good consciences of Haiti, without exclusion, around an ideal of progress, modernity and justice.

So many people want to break away from fatalism, resignation, self-flagellation and confessions of helplessness. The party intends to offer this silent majority a space for expression and activism, a reason for hope, a means of acting to CHANGE things.
Today, great generalized disorder characterizes the functioning of the State. We need to restore order! Order in our judicial system, in our public finances, in the functioning of our institutions, in our education system, in our financial system, in our social security system, in our national police, in our diplomacy…. Restoring order in the Republic must be a major objective of the coming decade.
